People like these need to rise up in Lebanon itself and inspire a change very soon, before this country disappears from our maps in the future.
That’s very beautiful. This is a great personal achievement for them. Congrats.
I hope, though, not only them but all of those who raise the lebanese pride out of lebanon to assist (if not to lead) in the restructuring of how we perceive lebanon. Needless to state that it is impossible to do this, but it must start somewhere, out loud, perhaps by the efforts of those lebanese who live out of lebanon (as most of them probably appreciate the mission and beauty of lebanon more than those who live therein). Ya3neh their voice must prevail over the voice of corrupt politicians.
Congratulations to all 3 of you, we are certainly proud, but what S. Mohamad said is true, because Lebanon is losing all the brains and what is left as chaos is a consequence of that loss.
What I urge you 3 to do and all Lebanese that excelled outside Lebanon, is to look over your country and find a way to better improve it for the future to come.
Best of luck and keep on excelling!!!!
Congratulations to you all and to our country. Proud of you.
so proud to be represented by such honorable people…You makes us really be proud to be lebanese.
We are so proud of you .. Great work must have qualified you to such prestigious positions . You are the best representatives of your homeland abroad and the role models for young Lebanese at home . Wishing you continued success . God bless you .
It is so great to see how lebanese people succeed all over the world in all fields and now it is in the educational field and specifically Architecture. We’re very proud of you!
Congratulations and best wishes to Amal, Rodolphe and Hashim.
congrats to all…
Such great individuals, yet such a poor performance when we group to work as a nation!
Well done deans, you bring much pride to Lebanon.
I am so proud of them it teaches our younger generation by working hard you can get to the top. Especially proud for MIT.
@ S. Mohamad.
Why so gloomy? Celebrate the good, don’t glorify the bad.
Read my message again, nobody wants the Lebanon of today… These are Lebanese nationals, and we are proud of them. Let us be so…
Perhaps gloomy and we ought to celebrate success. Good for those brave Champions. I am a journo by nature (the western way) and we believe that our duty in this life is to point out hurdles so we adjust negativities. I feel sour when I see Lebanese excelling abroad to the highest levels after being pushed out from homeland. Well, good for America and bad for Lebanon! My own cousin is one of America’s top urban planners but this doesn’t mean anything!! He never comes back home. He is in Chicago enjoying life at its renowned university – I do call him when I pass by the windy city or its airport hub O’Hare – Few seconds before we say Goodbye to each other! Just today, I got a promotional email from Amazon, oops, Amazon is promoting my cousin’s new book!
Congratulations, you are the pride of Lebanon
Congratulations to all three! Continue setting the right example, through your positive leadership and educational expertise. We are all proud of you, and being Lebanese is a plus!
CONGRATULATIONS
Sadly, they are NOT Lebanese but rather Americans. It’s USA that made them. Lebanon pushed them out. I served as the spokesperson of two top notch global executives of Lebanese origin and the 1st thing they told me about: make sure you don’t link us by any mean to Lebanon! As Ahmed Zoueil said: had I remained in Egypt I would still have been begging for a 50 Eyptian pound salary increase at Alexandria university! It’s America that made Ahmed Zoueil and nothing more! If Lebanese want
To be great as some dream they must start working rather than bickering with silly politics Muslims and Christians worse than each other! NO, hayda mish jawna wala baladna. Jawna wa baladna can be easily see by watching any Lebanese TV channel or taking a service taxi in town. Progress starts only when we admit mistakes. I was chatting the other day with the global president of a London based asset management group- he told me how America USA is prospering while Europe is still struggling-why? Because of USAs unique pragmatism no more no less. Sadly it’s totally non existing in Lebanon!!!
News like these make us all forget the Lebanon we live in today, and give us hope for tomorrow.
Hayda Ne7na, Hayda jawwna!
Congratulations to the three of you
Congrats guys… I hope we hear more about your high performances.
Congrat! You make every lebanese very proud….
Such distinguished reputation is what represents our country’s dignity and honor to the world. Hats off to each of you.
Good job guys …
Hard work pays off! That’s the lesson here really.
Very Proud of your Achievement. I might be nobody on the scale of Importance, but I can at least appreciate every step that you made to reach this Point. Lebanon is so Proud of the Individuals that shows excellency on a Global Level.
Cheers.
As an Architect who started at AUB (1957), then graduated in Architecture and planning from the Catholc University of Santiago, Chile ( 1965), then a Master Degree in Architecture and Urban Design MIT (1966), also a professor for many years, I know how difficult it is to achieve what you three did.
Heartiest congratulations to you all and may your star shine always to lead new Lebanese in your road to success.
